EN 10819
- Mechanical vibrations and shocks - Hand-arm vibrations - Method for measurement and assessment of vibration transmission to the palm via gloves

The standard specifies vibration transmissibility as vibrations transmitted from a handle through a glove to the palm in a one-third octave frequency band with centre frequencies ranging from 25 Hz to 1,250 Hz. The materials tested using this method can be used in the glove production. In order to be classified as an anti-vibration glove, the gloves must be tested and certified in accordance with this standard (for instance requirements to performance in terms of vibration reduction.
