EN ISO 13688:2013 -  Protective clothing - General requirements

Standard that specifies general requirements for protective clothing such as;

• Product and packaging information as well as labelling.
• Model and construction.
• Care and maintenance.
• Size.
• Requirements for the piece goods' content of substances harmful to health or the environment and pH value.
  
  EN ISO 13688 must always be followed and the requirements must be met. However, this is not a certification standard and is not marked on garments with its own pictogram. All standards for certification of protective clothing take into account the requirements laid down in EN ISO 13688.
