The SR 500 EX fan unit is explosion-proof and designed for use in explosive environments, making it well suited for intensive work, high temperatures and long durations.
It is part of Sundström’s powered air-purifying respirator system and is used in combination with helmets, hoods and/or full face masks.
Filtered air is supplied via a breathing hose to the headgear, creating positive pressure that prevents contaminants from the surrounding environment from entering.
Supplied with a Li-Ion battery 18 V, 3.0 Ah, charger and filter. The battery has a charging time of approximately 4 hours and an operating time of up to 12 hours.
The SR 550/SR 551 hose must be purchased separately (included with helmet/hood).Show less
