Fan SR500EX

Explosion-safe, battery-powered SR 500 EX fan unit for particulates and gases. Along with a combifilter and an approved head top, this unit is included in Sundström fan-assisted respiratory protective devices. Can be used as an alternative to filter respirators in all situations where respirators are recommended. This applies particularly to physically demanding tasks, in warm environments and during long working periods. The fan is equipped with a filter, and filtered air passes through a hose to the human interface. The resulting pressure prevents surrounding pollutants from penetrating into the mask. Two airflow settings: 175 and 240 l/min. The same control adjusts the fan start, stop, and a selection of operating statuses. Display with symbols. Equipped with automatic air-flow control with compensation for air pressure and temperature. IP class 67. Can be used with the SR 520, SR 530, SR 561, SR 562, SR 601, SR 602 hood, SR 570 face shield, SR 900 half-face mask, SR 200 full-face mask, SR 592 welding face shield, SR 580 safety helmet with face shield, or the SR 584/SR 580 welding face shield/safety helmet with face shield.
