EN 60903 - Working under voltage - Gloves and mittens made of insulating material

Work gloves or mittens made of an isolating material intended for use in high-voltage areas. This standard does not refer to EN 420, EN 388 or EN 374. Gloves produced and certified in accordance to EN 60903 are the only gloves that should be used when there is a risk of electric shock. To determine the gloves that provide the best protection, it is important to be aware of the glove's capacity in relation to different voltage levels. To limit wear and wear (for example contact with live wires), protective leather gloves should be used over electrical isolating gloves.
