An insulating mid-layer garment developed for work in environments with a high risk of heat, flame, cold and electric arcs. The garments consist of 98% pure, new wool and 2% NEGA-STAT®, which provides optimal antistatic protection by conducting away electrical charge and reducing the risk of sparking. The thick wool quality provides superior thermal insulation, and retains body heat even when at rest. Wool's natural ability to absorb moisture without feeling wet means that the body is kept warm and comfortable, even in demanding conditions. Wool's inherent properties ensure that it does not melt or drip when exposed to high heat. The design is functional and comfortable, with sewn-in gussets and an ergonomic fit that provides maximum freedom of movement and extra protection against cold and heat. The garments are anti-shrink treated, so that the shape is maintained wash after wash.Show less
